Why hybrid martial arts for your child?
If you're comparing kids' martial arts, here's what four styles in one programme gives them.
- Kickboxing and taekwondo. Real striking and kicking technique, taught safely and built up gradually.
- Confidence from competence. They learn skills that actually work, not choreography.
- Belts and stripes. Goals they can see, earn and be proud of.
- Calm under pressure. Self-defence drilling teaches them to handle it instead of panicking or lashing out.
- Respect and discipline are built into every class: lining up, listening, taking turns.
- It's fun. Games, sparring and problem-solving burn serious energy every session.

What parents say
“We've been with PMA now for 6 years and have seen the development and confidence in our daughter. Great teachers and the kids have fun whilst they train!”

Questions, answered
Is it safe for my child?
We work hard to keep every session as safe as possible and injuries are rare. Classes are grouped by age, fully supervised, and your child only trains with others their own size. Striking drills are technique-first and built up gradually; nobody sparring on day one.
What if my child is shy, or not sporty?
Those are often the children who get the most from it. There's no bench and nobody gets picked last: every child works at their own level, and our instructors are used to bringing quieter kids out of their shell. Most parents notice a change in confidence within the first few weeks.
Will my child be made to fight or compete?
Never. Competition is entirely optional and only comes up years in, if a child wants it. The challenge is about confidence, focus and self-defence in a friendly, structured class.
Can I stay and watch?
Absolutely. Parents are welcome at every session, and most stay for the first few weeks. You'll see exactly who is coaching your child and how they teach.
What does it cost, and what happens after?
Their trial session is free. The 4-Week Kids Challenge is £199 one-time, with everything included, and it's complete in itself: no contract, no auto-enrolment, nothing to cancel. Either way, you'll see the difference in four weeks.
But you're free to do nothing
Next school year looks exactly like this one. Or take the free session: it costs nothing, and one class is all it takes to see it.
